The Students’ Ability in Writing Procedure Text (A Descriptive Qualitative Research at SMK NU Bandar in Academic Year 2022/2023)

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of grade X TKJ 2 students of SMK NU Bandar in writing procedure text. The method used was a descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study came from 32 students of grade X TKJ 2 SMK NU Bandar. To collect data, the written test technique was used. Based on the results of the study, grade X students of SMK NU Bandar is classified as capable of writing procedural texts because they obtained an average score of 75. This value is in the range of 75-84% criteria or is in the capable criteria. There were 7 students who were classified as very capable, 18 students who were classified as capable, 6 students who were classified as quite capable and only 1 student who was classified as underprivileged
