FENOMENA CHILDFREE DI TWITTER PADA GENERASI MILLENIAL
This research aims to analyse the phenomenon that is currently viral among the public, namely Childfree, which is widely discussed on social media through the media platform Twitter. In this research the author will focus on the causes of the millennial generation who are interested in doing childfree. Childfree is a decision not to have children either individually or in pairs. This option has been chosen by many millennials. This phenomenon is very different from the ancient people. Choosing to be childfree must be agreed by both partners if the perpetrator is married. At the end of the day, the phenomenon of childfree is very much debated by netizens on social media, they voice their opinion whether they agree or disagree with the existence of childfree. Some public figures do this. The author uses qualitative methods in this study to obtain valid data. The object of this research is the media platform Twitter. This study shows efforts to find out the causes and understanding of why the childfree phenomenon occurs in the millennial generation.
