Pengaruh Literasi keuangan dan Penggunaan Fintech terhadap Perilaku Keuangan Mahasiswa di Pekalongan
Abstract
The development of financial technology (fintech) provides convenience in managing finances, especially for university students who are generally active users of digital applications. However, this convenience is not always accompanied by adequate financial understanding, which can potentially lead to personal financial mismanagement. This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy and the use of fintech on the financial behavior of university students in Pekalongan City. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach by distributing questionnaires to 51 students from several universities in Pekalongan. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to test the influence of each independent variable on financial behavior as the dependent variable. The results show that both financial literacy and fintech usage have a positive influence on students’ financial behavior. Among the two, financial literacy has a more dominant influence. These findings indicate that the better students understand financial management, the better their financial behavior in daily life.
