Abstract

Climate change is a global issue that is still being discussed around the world today. In response, Indonesia has launched a financial instrument called Socially Responsible Investment (SRI). Investing in SRI not only provides financial benefits, but also contributes to social, ethical, and environmental causes. This research analyzes the factors that influence Generation Z's interest in investing in SRI with a case study of PKN STAN students. The purpose of this research is to identify the influence of variables such as Attitude, Subjective Norm, Social Investment Efficacy, Knowledge of SRI, Perceived Risk, and Religiosity on Intention towards SRI. This research employs quantitative methodologies, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques through the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The collection of empirical data was executed through the utilization of a purposive sampling technique, employing an online questionnaire that was disseminated among a sample of PKN STAN students, yielding a total of 99 respondents. The results showed that the variables of Subjective Norm, Knowledge of SRI, and Religiosity have a significant effect on intention towards SRI. On the other hand, the variables of Attitude, Social Investment Efficacy, and Perceived Risk were not found to have a significant influence on intention towards SRI.
