Abstract

Culinary tourism is the focus on food as an attraction for exploration and a destination for tourism. “Minggon Jatinan” is one of the culinary tourism in Batang Regency. The purpose of this study is to suggest a framework to be used as a development strategy for culinary tourism projects which employed a qualitative research method (survey and observation). SWOT analysis used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Findings of this study for development strategy of culinary tourism “Minggon Jatinan” such as, the importance of the strategy itself, cooperation among stakeholders, culinary profile promotion and optimizing the potential of forests to maintain the uniqueness of culinary tourism"Minggon Jatinan"
