ANALISIS PENGARUH EARNING PER SHARE (EPS), RETURN ON EQUITY (ROE), PRICE TO EARNING RATIO (PER), NET PROFIT MARGIN (NPM), DAN DEBT EQUITY RATIO (DER) TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM SEKTOR KEUANGAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (BEI) TAHUN 2019-2021
Abstrak
The aim of this research is to test and analyze the influence of earnings per share (EPS), return on equity (ROE), price-to-earnings ratio (PER), net profit margin (NPM), and debt-to-equity ratio (DER) on stock prices. The objects used are financial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019–2021. The data used is secondary data, the sampling method used is the purposive sampling method, and data collection uses the documentation method. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression using SPSS 25 software. Test results on 217 samples produce findings that earnings per share (EPS), return on equity (ROE), price-to-earnings ratio (PER), and debt to-equity ratio (DER) have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while net profit margin (NPM) has a positive and insignificant effect on stock prices. Earnings per share (EPS) is a variable that has a dominant influence on the share prices of financial sector companies. The company's potential to generate profits for investors is shown by EPS. Investors and potential investors will be more interested in buying these shares if the EPS value is higher.
