TEACHER’S CREATIVITY IN ONLINE CLASS DURING THE PANDEMIC OF XI MIPA STUDENTS IN SMA NEGERI 1 KEDUNGWUNI

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine teacher creativity in online learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwuni during a pandemic. Second, to discover how teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Kedungwuni deal with issues in online learning. The researchers in this study concentrated on the ingenuity of class XI MIPA instructors in designing and using learning media during the pandemic. This is a descriptive qualitative study. Data was gathered through an interview. Data analysis consists of various processes, including data collection, reduction, displays, verification, and report creation. According to the study's findings, teachers use a variety of learning media in online classes. English teachers utilize a variety of media to help pupils learn and understand educational materials. Audio, visual, and audio-visual media are examples of media. Audio and visual media are the most commonly used in class. A minor percentage of the media is accessible via the internet. However, the teacher's implementation is not optimal. Based on the findings, the researcher urges teachers to always seek for new and unique ways to engage students in active, inventive, and exciting learning, as well as to motivate students to be serious about participating in learning even if they study online. The English teacher at SMP NEGERI 1 KEDUNGWUNI has various ideas in solving problems with digital media. Some teachers can generate ideas/problem solving for digital learning media because they often attend trainings on the use of media, also often exchange information or share with peers or with other school teachers who are more experienced so that knowledge about digital learning media becomes broad.
