Abstract

Penelitian This study aims to evaluate the application of prophetic rhetoric on Instagram @duolhogok. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data sources in this study are qualitative data sourced from @duolhogok Instagram post data and secondary data obtained from reference books on prophetic communication, rhetoric, Instagram, and other sites that are still related to this research. The data collection techniques taken in this study used observation and documentation techniques. The data that has been collected will be analyzed using the rhetoric theory of ethos, pathos, and logos as well as the prophetic theory of humanization, liberation, and transcendence values. The results of this study: (1) ethos is related to the credibility of a content creator or speaker, namely Umam and Aldy who have good credibility or ethos as a speaker with personal expertise in humor and education, (2) pathos is related to the emotional appeal of the audience in the form of compassion, (3) logos is related to arguments based on logical evidence or by reality in society. (4) humanization value is related to humanity in the form of reminding fellow humans and helping people in distress as a form of humanizing humans, (5) liberation is related to liberation to avoid something negative to positive, and (6) transcendence in the form of gratitude and submission to the almighty god which is marked by saying 'ya Allah'.
