ANALISIS PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA DITINJAU DARI GAYA BELAJAR SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP DARMA CATUR
Abstract
The importance of understanding student learning styles lies not only in increasing learning achievement, but also in increasing motivation and learning satisfaction. Learning style is a person's way of receiving, processing, understanding and storing information. This research aims to find out how students' learning achievements are seen from the learning styles of class VIII students at SMP Darma Catur. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were through student learning style questionnaires and documentation in the form of summative assessment results at the end of the even semester, with a sample of 29 class VIII students. The results of the research from 29 students showed that 19 students (65.52%) with a tendency towards a visual learning style had learning achievements in mathematics with an average score of 65.63; 8 students (27.59%) with a kinesthetic learning style tend to have an average learning achievement in mathematics subjects of 64.88 and 2 students (6.89%) with an auditory learning style tend to have an average learning achievement in mathematics subjects average value 61.50.
