PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI NORMA DAN UUD 1945 SMPN 1 SEMEN
Abstract
This research is driven by observations collected at SMPN 1 Semen, which indicate that children are unaware of the rules that exist in the school environment. In addition to being encouraged by various causes, student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education topics have decreased. In the learning process, conventional approaches are still used, resulting in worse student learning results owing to a lack of enthusiasm and creativity. Learning is applied using a discovery learning approach that is focused on learning outcomes. Furthermore, this work adopts a class action research technique (PTK), with the study subject being grade 7G pupils from SMPN 1 Semen. This study was conducted in two cycles and employed instruments such as instructor and student activity observation sheets, pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and student learning activity sheets. Student learning results achieved using the discovery learning technique increased the material of norms and the 1945 Constitution from the pre-cycle to the second cycle. In class 7G, the pre-test score was 57.1%.
