INTEGRASI NILAI-NILAI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM KARAKTER DIALEK “PAK ORA” DI PEKALONGAN: TINJAUAN FENOMENOLOGI

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of local wisdom values in the character of the “Pak Ora” dialect in Pekalongan. Through a phenomenological approach, this research identifies and analyzes various aspects of local wisdom reflected in this dialect. Local wisdom in Pekalongan is categorized into three main areas: sincerity, tolerance, and regional identity. Sincerity, encompassing patience and acceptance (legowo), is a trait demonstrated in various social situations, showing how the people of Pekalongan face challenges with a sincere and patient heart. Tolerance includes respect for privacy and the ability to avoid conflict, which are crucial elements in maintaining social harmony. Regional identity encompasses the local language and character, which are vital symbols in strengthening Pekalongan's cultural identity. The “Pak Ora” dialect, as part of the local language, not only serves as a communication tool but also as a medium to express and preserve the values of local wisdom. This study emphasizes the importance of maintaining and integrating local wisdom in daily life to reinforce cultural identity and create a harmonious and tolerant society.
