Abstract

Speaking ability crucial aspect of children’s language development howover, speech delay remains a
challange that affects communication, congnitive, and social apeects. This study aims to analyze thee
needs for karceri (serial picture cards) as speech therepy medium for chilidren with speech delay. The
method used descriptive qualitative with data collection teacheniques inculding observation,
interviews, and questionnaires. The results show that 80% of respondents stated taht karceri is highly
needed. Based on the content need analysis, 60% of respondents preferees family themed card, 30%
daily activities themed cards, and 10% animal/fable themed cards. Karceri is disigned as visual
narrative medium that is attarctive and easy to understand. It has the potential to become an effective
educational solution in supporting speech therapy and language development for children with speech
delay.
