Penerapan Pendidikan Multikultural pada Pembelajaran Pancasila dalam Membentuk Sikap Toleransi Siswa di SMKN 1 Geger Kabupaten Madiun
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the aplication of multicultural education in Pancasila learning and to determine students' perceptions of its application in fostering a tolerant attitude in students at SMKN 1 Geger, Madiun Regency. This study is qualitative and used a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of one deputy head of curriculum, one PPKn teacher, and six students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results indicate that multicultural education has been implemented through Pancasila learning, both through the curriculum approach, learning methods, and extracurricular activities. This study confirms that the consistent implementation of multicultural education is significant in fostering a tolerant attitude in students. This research is expected to contribute to the development of multicultural education in vocational high schools and strengthen Pancasila values in students' social interactions.
