Pengembangan Buku Pengayaan Berbantuan Augmented Reality pada Materi Energi Terbarukan
Abstract
This study aims to develop an enrichment book assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) on renewable energy topics for 10th-grade high school students. The development was driven by students’ low comprehension of abstract renewable energy concepts and the limited availability of interactive learning media. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The product is a knowledge enrichment book integrated with AR technology using the Assemblr platform, enabling 3D visualizations of objects such as solar panels, wind turbines, and other power systems. Product feasibility was assessed through expert validation (subject matter experts, media experts, and physics teachers) and user testing with students. Interactive AR visualizations were found to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and interest in learning renewable energy topics. Therefore, the book serves as an innovative and effective alternative teaching resource to support physics learning.
