PRONOMINA PERSONA DALAM NOVEL BUMI KARYA TERE LIYE DAN IMPLIKASINYA PADA PEMBELAJARAN MENULIS CERITA FANTASI DI SMP

Abstract

Personal pronouns are linguistic elements that are always used in comunication activities. The researcher want to provide an understanding of the use of personal pronouns through an analysis of Bumi novel by Tere Liye using the theory of pronouns, especially personal pronouns. The purpose of this research is (1) to describes the use of personal pronouns in the Bumi novel by Tere Liye, and (2) to describes the implications of personal pronouns in the Bumi novel by Tere Liye on learning to write fantasy stories in junior high school. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are reading and note taking techniques. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative technique. The use of descriptive techniques aims to describe the data on the use of personal pronouns obtained from the Bumi novel by Tere Liye. The results of this research found 66 data analysis consisting of three types of pronouns both singular and plural. The three types of pronouns are first person pronouns, second person pronouns and third person pronouns. The most common types of personal pronouns are the first personal pronouns. The result of this research were implicated in learning to write fantasy stories in seventh grade junior high school as examples and teaching materials related to personal pronouns in learning to write fantasy stories.
