Abstract

The world entered the industrial revolution 4.0 which gave influence in various aspects of life. An adequate quality of human resources is needed to survive in this era. Children with autism are sometimes considered one-sided because they are children who have special needs with very sensitive traits and uncontrolled emotions. When in fact, children with autism are children with special needs with good potential from behind their world. This article aims at mathematics education being able to educate autistic children to become mathematicians who can compete in the 4.0 industrial revolution. This article is based on the relevant literary analysis method (desk analysis) so that it is in the form of a collection of statements from various sources that serve as reference points. Autistic children have advantages with a high work ethic when they are in their world. Besides, it is supported by a high level of concentration and proper handling so that children with autism can survive in the competition of the industrial revolution 4.0.
