Abstract

In recent years, technological development has undergone a very rapid transformation and various new innovations have emerged that make the revolution so strong, it is marked by the continued development of the latest technology to simplify human life. One of them is through the growth of financial technology in the financial industry sector. The existence of financial technology has changed the way people interact with finance. One form of financial technology that is currently being discussed is Blockchain technology. Blockchain is the result of financial technology innovation that has various benefits for the financial sector. The application of Blockchain technology in the world of financial technology also has its own challenges. One of the main challenges is the lack of strong public trust. The data collection method used in writing this scientific work is library research, namely collecting various data using literature such as books, articles, journals, and reports on previous research results. This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this scientific writing show the opportunities and challenges of Blockchain technology in its application in the field of financial services based on financial technology.
