In line with the program to implement the 1st  International Conference and Community Service- UNIKAL with the theme "The Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Global Pharmaceutical Knowledge". An international conference is deemed necessary because it is one of the sources to gain knowledge about how a pharmacist carries out his role optimally by maximizing the role of artificial intelligence. In addition, this conference also has a call for papers in the form of oral presentations (scientific articles and posters) which are a place to publish research or thoughts from lecturers, students and the public.
 Proceeding International Conference and Community Service - UNIKAL is an open-access journal accommodated by the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Pekalongan. The focus and scope of the proceeding are Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Drug Discovery, Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Biology, Herbal Medicines, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology, Community and Clinical Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Care.
As an educational institution, especially the Faculty of Pharmacy, Pekalongan University continues to strive to improve quality in the development of the times. All activities are supported by adequate academic and non-academic facilities, as well as extensive cooperation and networks. Faculty of Pharmacy, Pekalongan University systematically and continuously continues to make various efforts to become a high-class international study program. This effort has shown positive results and is expected to increase in the future.
