Abstract

The lack of financial literacy among Indonesians, including Gen-Z, has become a significant problem in financial decision-making. This can lead to negative consequences such as difficulty in planning for the financial future, poor financial decision-making, and increased risk of financial fraud. Therefore, it is imperative to improve financial literacy among Gen-Z so that they can make wise financial decisions and improve their financial well-being. The main objective of this article is to emphasize the important role of technology and social media in improving financial literacy for Gen-Z. The approach used in this article is the literature review method, which includes various techniques of collecting literature data, reading and recording, and managing research materials. The result of this article is to recognize that technology and social media play an important role in improving financial literacy for Gen-Z.
