Abstract

This study focuses on the prospects and challenges of the BRICS currency as a means of investment for young people, especially Gen Z. Investment is an activity of purchasing goods or funds in one or more types and stored for a certain period, with the aim that the price of the goods or funds stored will increase or have a high exchange rate in the future. The BRICS currency is the latest currency developed by the BRICS countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa). The BRICS currency was created to reduce the dependence of the global economy on the US dollar and a more stable alternative considering that the US dollar is weakening. The purpose of this study is to analyze the potential, evaluate the impact, and identify the factors that influence the BRICS currency. By using quantitative research methods to take numbers in the data collection process such as books and scientific journals. The results of this study as a knowledge about the BRICS currency as a means of investment in the future.
