Abstrak

Currently, the number of investors is dominated by students, but there are several challenges faced by students as investors, such as a low understanding of financial literacy, awareness of investment risk and portfolio diversification, and unclear investment goals. The purpose of this study is to determine how much influence the related variables have on students' self-efficacy in investing. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to students who actively invest in the Jakarta area with a total of 49 respondents with 40 respondents who fit the criteria. The analysis method used is descriptive analysis and multivariate statistical analysis (SEM) using Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results showed that the variables of risk profile identification and investment objectives had a positive and significant effect on the independent variable of student self-efficacy in investing, while the portfolio diversification variable had no effect on the independent variable of student self-efficacy in investing.
