Abstrak

Green economy is crucial to balance economic growth and environmental sustainability. However, public participation in sustainable investment in Indonesia remains low, with limited institutions facilitating green investments. This study analyzes the capital market’s role in advancing the green economy and proposes Eco Investama, a green investment financial institution. Using literature review and data analysis of the ESG Quality 45 IDX KEHATI Index, which shows significant stock price growth (120.98 in 2021 to 133.79 in 2024), Eco Investama is designed to bridge investors and green businesses by pooling funds, analyzing ESG-compliant emitters, and allocating investments sustainably. Results indicate Eco Investama can enhance green investment awareness, reduce environmental risks, and promote inclusive growth. The study concludes that collaboration among government, private sectors, and communities is vital to realize Eco Investama, supporting SDGs 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), 13 (Climate Action), 14 (Life Below Water), dan 15 (Life on Land). Recommendations include regulatory support, investor education, and integrating capital markets into green agendas. Keywords: Green Economy, Capital Market, Sustainable Investment.
