Abstrak

This study analyzes the impact of greenwashing in sustainable investment on investor trust and the role of students in addressing this issue. Many companies use green marketing strategies without implementing real sustainability practices, making it difficult for investors to distinguish truly committed Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) companies. The lack of strict regulations and low public awareness further worsen this issue. Therefore, students can play a crucial role through digital campaigns, education, policy advocacy, and technology to enhance transparency in sustainable investment. This study has limitations, such as relying solely on literature review without empirical data and the ever-evolving nature of greenwashing strategies. Therefore, further research using a case study and policy analysis approach is needed to ensure greater transparency and sustainability in green investment.
