Unmanaged waste and high carbon emissions make environmental damage and ecosystem degradation one of the global challenges that the world must face, especially Indonesia. In 2023, KLHK data reported 11.3 million tons of untreated waste, and the industrial sector is the largest contributor to carbon emissions, producing more than 600 million tons of CO₂e in 2024. With these problems, it is important to encourage public awareness of environmental issues. This study aims to analyze the role of green investment as a tool to prevent environmental degradation and presents Greenvest, an innovative fintech app that enables and motivates sustainable investment, especially among younger generation investors. Notable features include GreenImpact, an investment tool that allows you to invest in environmental projects related to regional issues, GreenMax, which enables investment in green companies with high returns, EcoRecycle, which helps users recycle their waste through local services, and GreenCircle, a feature that houses environmental communities. Using a qualitative descriptive methodology, this research examines contemporary environmental issues, investment trends, and the role of digital platforms in advancing green finance. Greenvest holds the key to closing this gap and turning the elements of accessibility and education into a portal can empower sustainable projects.
