Abstrak

This research paper examines the application of the Cibest model in measuring the welfare of zakat recipients in Makassar, specifically through the Baznas institution. The study highlights the persistent issues of poverty and income inequality faced by Indonesia and other developing countries, emphasizing the role of zakat as a means to alleviate these problems. By utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this research aims to analyze the impact of productive zakat on the material and spiritual welfare of the recipients. The findings are expected to contribute to the understanding of zakat management and its effectiveness in enhancing the economic conditions of the mustahik, thereby providing valuable insights for future studies and practical applications in the field of Islamic economics.
