ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN BUKU POP-UP WISATA KULINER SEBAGAI MEDIA PENGENALAN KEARIFAN LOKAL KOTA PEKALONGAN

Abstract

The development of culinary in the society in the form of contemporary foods moved the interest of youths to the traditional food. Traditional foods are local wisdom of certain area. This research aimed to 1) describe the promotion of Pekalongan culinary and 2) analyze the need of developing pop-up book of tourist Pekalongan culinary. Need analysis research design was used in this research, while the instruments consist of questionnaire and interview. Data collection was conducted through 9 owners of culinary location. The results showed that they have promoted their culinary through several media: 10% used radio, 20% used TV station, 10 % used social media and 60 % have not been promoted yet. 89 % of the restaurants owner agreed if pop-up book culinary developed. The pop-up book can be displayed in the exhibition to promote Pekalongan culinary. Moreover, pop-up book of Pekalongan culinary can be used as teaching learning process media to the students in Pekalongan so that they are familiar with Pekalongan traditional culinary as an effort to conserve Pekalongan local wisdom.
