Abstract

This paper discusses the structuralism from biography movie “The Blind Side”, which is inspiration movie still watched from teenagers until adults. The researcher focused on the structural in this movie. The writer use method of qualitative descriptive. The objectives of the study is to find out the structural in The Blind slide movie and the result the writer found the structural in this movie. The Blind Side tells the storyline of Michael Oher has to struggle for reach ideals as footballer. Here structuralism in general can be defined by the belief that all things can’t be understood apart from anything else, at the beginning of the movie “The Blind Side” tells that there is a homeless child named Michael Oher who lived loneliness and unconfident with himself because his mother was jailed for a drug case. The storyline of this, a things is understand the story, but in the movie provides to understanding the problematic based on the first storyline until the conflict who made the characters changes himself and using the language which different but is can be understand used from this movie. The presence of biography movie as a form of literary work in the community modern for this is enough to recognize although it has known through the media of television. “The Blind Side” movie can contain moral, psychological, or entertainment.
