Abstract
This paper conducted to illustrate the education system in Indonesia through poetry with
comparation between ideality and reality of Indonesian education. The researchers exposing the
ambiguity of language and also exposing ideology in language meaning in Apa Kabar Pendidikan
Negeriku poetry by Dian Hartati based on sturcturalism theory by Levi Straussusing descriptive
deductive method. This poetry tells about a man still wondering the influence of the Education
system on his life. The researchers try to prove that education in Indonesia is error because of the
system itself through data and facts which has been surveyed, that is why the researchers conclude
that the education system should play an important role but is even being questioned and even
clarify the adverse effects of system errors.
