Aspek Kepribadian Tokoh Broto Terhadap Ayu dalam Film “Selesai” Sutradara Tompi: Kajian Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

This research only focuses on the personality of the characters in the film Selesai director by Tompi. The purpose of this research is to describe the personality aspects of Ayu and Broto, and to describe the influence caused by Broto's treatment of Ayu in the film Finish by Imam Darto. The type of research used is qualitative. The data collection technique used is bibliography and notes. Data analysis techniques used through 3 stages, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data source for this research is the film Selesai director by Tompi. The results of the research and discussion, that the personality of the character Ayu has a loving, emotional, stubborn, patient, manipulative, and mythomaniac character. The personality of Broto's character is fickle, gaslighting, abusive, and selfish. Ayu and Broto's personalities are formed by 3 personality elements, namely, id, ego, and superego. The personalities of Ayu and Broto are influenced by several factors. Factors from within the individual and from the environment. Ayu's personality is influenced by factors from within the individual formed from direct experience and frames of reference, while environmental factors are formed from socio-economic factors. Factors that influence Broto's personality that come from within the individual are formed by social communication factors, while environmental factors are formed by socio-economic factors.
