Abstract

The purpose of this study was to review the effectiveness of the application of the project based learning model in geometry courses, which was carried out online in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The experimental research design used was a one group pretest-posttest design with data sources based on the accumulated results of the project with the results of student learning tests, as well as the results of interviews and student response questionnaires. The results of the research hypothesis test showed that before the application of the project based learning model and after the application of the project based learning model in online learning in geometry subjects had different mean values. The average obtained before and according to the application of the project based learning model in online learning is 66.88 and 89.38. Student learning outcomes in geometry subjects with the application of the project based learning model in online learning are better than before the project based learning model was applied in online learning. In addition, student responses regarding the application of the project based learning model in online learning are very good. This is shown by the percentage of achievement of the student response indicators to the three projects that have been carried out, namely 52%, 76%, and 92%.
